Social and Political Concepts in Phan Waen Fah Award Poetry during 2016-2021

A research article on social and political concepts in the Phan Waen Fah Poetry Award 2016-2021, which was written during the post-coup domination of Thailand by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and General Prayuth Chan-o-cha as Prime Minister. The objective of this research analyzed social and political concepts in 78 Phan Waen Fah Poetry Awards 2016-2021. The results of the research revealed six social and political concepts, namely: citizen power determines the country's future, the new generation is towards a blooming democracy, democratic coexistence in differences, conflict between soldiers and politicians affects the people, abuse of power and corruption are the main obstacles to democracy and creating equality in society is cannot happen. Based on these concepts, it can be said that the poetry in the Phan Waen Fah Award 2016-2021 is a medium between the state and the citizens of the country.
