Abstract

The objective of this research 1. To study the causes and level of fear of crime in the students in the field of police administration. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Bangkok In this research, quantitative research was used to collect data by using questionnaires on the 5 basic crime fear levels. Types of crimes related to life, body, sex and free. Type of danger from drugs Types of threats from the misconduct of children and youth Types of threats from using interest group influence The frequency and percentage were determined, the mean (x ) and standard deviation (SD.) Were analyzed by the t-test. 2. To study the basic types of crimes near students. 3. To study in opinions and recommendations of students.  How does the Branch of Police Administration to increase safety in society As a line for the police or the government  1. Overall of the students in the field of police administration, faculty of humanities and social sciences.  Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University They have a high level of fear of the underlying crime. Considering each type, it was found that fear of crime had a high degree of fear. Fear of threats related to life, body, sex and freedom. Fear was at high level
(x  = 2.88 S.D. = 0.88). The fear was at a moderate level (x  = 2.49 S.D. = 0.85). The fear is very high
(x  = 2.54 S.D. = 0.93).Types of threats from the misconduct of children and youth The fear was at a high level (x  = 2.66 S.D. = 0.92). The fear is very high (x  = 2.64 S.D. = 0.92)
