Risk Behaviors for Depression of high school students in Chalermkwansatree school, Phitsanulok

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study 1.) To study of risk behaviors for depression of high school students in Chalermkwansatree school, Phitsanulok and 2.) To compare of risk behaviors for depression of high school students in Chalermkwansatree school, Phitsanulok. Classified by personal factors people used in quantitative research is high school students in Chalermkwansatree school. To study of risk behaviors for depression of high school students in Chalermkwansatree school, Phitsanulok. Used a quantitative research methodology. The sample group used in this research was 355 high school students in Chalermkwansatree school. The sample group obtained from multi-stage sampling were cluster sampling and sample random sampling. The research tool was to collect questionnaires. The statistics used in the data analysis were content analysis, percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation. Statistics comparing the mean between 2 independent variables (t-Test) Statistics comparing the mean between 2 or more variables (F-Test). The result of the research was found that 1.) The sample group's overall risk behaviors for depression were at a moderate level. Considering each aspect, it was found that the sample group with the risk behaviors of depression in terms of academic performance was the part that caused the students the most stress, followed by feeling uncomfortable when receiving expectations from the people around them. And feel dissatisfied when criticized by others, respectively. 2.) The sample group on personal factors, gender, number of siblings, income burden family characteristics Parents' marital status, Parent's Occupation family income the risk behaviors of depression were different, while the sample of personal factors. Withing levels of religion, discipline, and risk behaviors for depression no different.
