The Guidelines for Efficient Project Management of the Muban Chom Bueng Rajaphat University Swimming Pool

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the guidelines for efficient project management of the Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University Swimming Pool; and to find out the possibility of the guidelines for efficient project management of the Muban Chom Bueng Rajaphat University Swimming Pool. The samples in the research were 7 chairs of different universities’ swimming pools, and 65 administrators and committees selected by Purposive Sampling. The instrument was the structured-interview and a five-rating-scale questionnaire with reliability at 0.85. The statistics for data analysis were mean, percentage, and standard deviation. The results pointed out that the guidelines for efficient project management of Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University Swimming Pool comprised of 7 key areas which were: 1) organizational strategies, missions and goals corresponded to organization’s needs and the external and internal environment of the organization; 2) organizational structure outlining clear job responsibilities and job functions; 3) transparent procurement system and financial system management in line with yearly action plan; 4) suitable recruitment system with appropriate welfare, accepting employees’ opinions as part of organizational management; 5) knowledge, proficiency, and personnel’s working proficiency were support by further studies and trainings, 6) administrative format in team work context is highly encouraged; and 7) corporate values, cleanliness, security, collaborations, and personnel’s sacrifice are among mandatory values. In addition, the overall possibility of the guidelines for efficient project management of Muban Chom Bueng Rajabhat University Swimming Pool was at the highest level. In terms of item analysis, the item with highest mean scores includes the skills, knowledge and proficiency, followed by the corporate values, the organizational strategies, the administrative format, the human resources, the organizational structure, and the working system, respectively.
