An Evaluation of Education Quality Promotion Project Based on Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn’s Initiation in the Border Patrol Police’s School under Border Police Sub – Division 13

The objectives of this research were to: 1) evaluate the education quality promotion project based on Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn’s initiation in the border patrol police’s school under border patrol police sub-division 13; and 2) study the guidelines for developing the procedure of education quality promotion project based on Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhorn’s initiation in the border patrol police’s school under border patrol police sub-division 13. The research informants consisted of 2 groups. The first group was the questionnaire respondents selected by purposive sampling including 166 administrators, teachers and students. The second group was interview respondents, selected by purposive sampling including 15 heads of basic educational institution committee. The research instruments were questionnaire and semi-structured interview developed by the researcher with IOC content validity between 0.67-1.00, and with internal consistency reliability coefficients at 0.97 and 0.88. Statistical analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The investigation found: 1) the overall level of the procedure of education quality promotion project was at a high level, with the highest mean on ‘impact’, followed by ‘process’, ‘outcome and input’, respectively; and 2) the guidelines for developing the procedure of education quality promotion project were outlined as: (1) create alliance network with private sectors, parents and alumni, (2) develop information technology system for long-distance learning, and (3) support English language teachers, promote academic expertise, enhance internal competition within schools, and advise the border patrol police sub-division to increase the number of teachers, as well as creating opportunities for the career.
