Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1. study the attitudes towards school-age pregnancy among female students of Nonsiwitthaya School, Yannawa district, Bangkok; 2. study the risks of pregnancy in school-age among female students of Nonsiwitthaya School, Yannawa district, Bangkok, 3. study the comparison of the risk of pregnancy in school-age among female students of Nonsiwitthaya School, Yannawa district, Bangkok classified by personal factors and 4. study the impact of attitudes towards the risk of pregnancy in school-age among female students of Nonsiwitthaya School, Yannawa district, Bangkok. This research employed quantitative method with the group sample of 324 female students of Nonsiwitthaya School. Sample size was obtained using Yamane formula. Data were collected from 324 students. Statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation of t-test and F-test and multiple regression analysis. The research found that the overall attitude towards school-age pregnancy was at a high level (X ̅= 3.47, ????.????.= 1.636) and the sample group had a moderate level pregnancy risk at of 0.64. The study of comparison of risks of school–age was classified by individual factors found that age, educational level, and status generate the different risks for the occurrence of school-age pregnancy. Moreover, multiple regression analysis revealed factors affecting these risks were school-age intercourse(x1), private coexistence (x2), and drinking along with drug usage prior to sexual intercourse (x4) at 7 percent (R2 = 0.073).
