Abstract

The research aimed to study the suitability of ethical factor variables and ethical characteristics of mass communication students and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of ethical factors and ethical characteristics based-on Thai Qualifications Framework (TQF) for Higher Education of mass communication students. This quantitative research used questionnaire as a tool to collect data from 800 samples who were about of journalism. Data was analysed by to confirmatory factor analysis, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed as follows: ethical factors of students were suitability at a high level including psychological factors was at high level, psychological causal factors were at high level, ethical Behavior Factors was at a high level, and five minds for the future factors was at the highest level. Ethical characteristics of students was appropriate at the highest level. The ethical factors of the communication students consisted of 22 factors had positive loading factor between 0.513-1.004 with a statistical significance at .01 including intelligence, social experience, mental health, ethical reasons, focus on the future and self-control, power of belief, motivation achievement, attitude, moral and values, social development behavior, good citizenship behavior, working behavior, good and smart people behavior, health behavior, studious behavior, disciplined mind, synthesizing mind, creative mind, respectful mind, ethical mind, self and public Responsibility, lifestyle adjustments in the conflict of values, and habits and moral development.
