Abstract

This research is a mixed method research. The purpose is to develop a model of teaching professional experience training based on competency of students in the Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. It aims to: 1) synthesize the model and 2) assess the quality of the model obtained from the synthesis comprised of; 1) Development of teacher professional competency through observational study process and participation of first and second year students of the Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; 2) Development of professional competency of teachers through the experimental teaching process of 3rd year students Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; 3) Development of teacher professional competence through teaching practices in educational institutions Asking for 4th year students, Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; and 4) Development of a teacher professional competency assessment form of students of the Faculty of Education Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The model of teaching professional experience training based on competency of students of the Faculty of Education, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and the model's quality assessment form was consistent between 0.67-100. The data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the synthesis of the model received a form of teaching professional experience training POET-Professional Model with Composition, Preparation, Observational and Participatory Studies.The model was evaluated by experts, considering the overview at the highest level and each aspect, it was found that it was at the highest level in terms of accuracy (x ̅= 4.77, S.D=0.37),suitability (x ̅= 4.83, S.D=0.30), feasibility (x ̅= 4.80,S.D=0.27) and usefulness (x ̅= 4.74,S.D=0.34)
