Abstract

A research study on the prevention of self-defense against being a victim of drug abuse among students of the Police Administration Program. Have research objectives to study drug victim prevention among students in police administration program. And to compare drug victim prevention among students in the police administration program the sample population of this research is A total of 172 students in the Police Administration Program The tools used in this research are: Data collection by questionnaire The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.) t-test (Independent t-test). Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) f-test compared the mean of more than 2 groups of variables.

The study found that

  1. Most of the respondents were female. Most of them were in their 20s, accounting for 29.7 percent of the total, most of them in the fourth year, 39.0 percent of the total, and they were domiciled. Southern region accounted for 28.5 percent of the total.
  2. The protection of themselves from being a victim of drugs among students in the Police Administration Branch was found to be at a high level ( = 3.66 S.D. = 0.42). The item with the highest level of opinion was that the students were afraid if they had taken drugs, they would be arrested by the police in the future ( = 4.88 SD = 0.39), followed by the students who had a strong mind and did not use drugs ( = 4.74 SD = 0.47) respectively.
  3. The comparison of self-protection from being a victim from drugs of students in the Police Administration Department found that the results were compared by personal factors, sex, age, year level and domicile with protection against being a victim. From drugs of different police administration students, the mean opinion scores on the protection of self-protection from drug abuse were significantly different at 0.05.
