Abstract

Research Study on Self-Defense to Avoid Becoming Victims of Property Crime: A Case Study of People in Tha Than Subdistrict Phanom Sarakham District, Chachoengsao with the objective To study self-defense so as not to fall victim to crime involving the property of people living in Tha Than Sub-district By studying the factors of effectiveness, including personal factors The population group used for this study was the population of 381 people in Tha Than Subdistrict. Used to collect data by questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The t-test was used to compare the differences between the two groups of variables and the One-way ANOVA statistic for comparing the differences between the primary variables. With 3 or more groups

The study found that 1) The results of data analysis of the respondents using a sample group of 381 people can classify the variables as follows. Most of the respondents were female, accounting for 109.5 percent. The majority of the respondents were between the ages of 20 and 29, 43.5 percent. Most of the education levels are at the bachelor's degree, accounting for 64 percent. Most of the marital status were celibate, accounting for 68.5 percent. And most of the occupations are students Accounted for 41.5 percent 2) The results of analysis of public opinion levels in preventing themselves from becoming victims of crime related to property Content analysis is as follows. Most of the respondents commented the most were to avoid being alone, in a secluded place, or in a dark place with little light, followed by a car. When you travel, there will always be a companion. 3) The comparison of self-protection against being a victim of property crime was found that the comparison results by personal factors, gender, age range, education level, marital status and occupation had different mean scores of opinions.
