Social Engagement and Online Gambling among Students in Bangkok

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of online gambling behavior of students. Bangkok 2) To compare students' online gambling Bangkok Classified by personal factors 3) to study the relationship of social affiliation and online gambling behavior of students. Bangkok and 4) to study the social bonds affecting the students' online gambling offenses or behaviors. Bangkok Use a quantitative research methodology. The sample group used in the research was 350 students in Bangkok. The research instrument was a questionnaire collection. The statistics used in the data analysis were Content analysis, Percentage, Frequencies, Mean, Standard deviation. (t-Test), statistical comparison of mean between more than 2 variables (F-Test) and multiple regression analysis (Regression). The sample group had the level of online gambling behavior. at the lowest level It was found that the average was 1.76. When considering each aspect, it was found that the sample group thought that they felt most guilty about online gambling and the consequences after online gambling. with an average of 1.99, followed by a reversal. with the hope of getting the capital back with an average of 1.91. The sample group had a high level of social engagement. It was an average of 3.57 samples with different gender, age, gender, educational level, livelihood and monthly income. There are different online gambling behaviors. The statistical significance at the 0.05 level was social engagement with online gambling behavior. Overall, there was the lowest level of correlation. in the opposite direction (r = -0.027). The factor affecting online gambling behavior with statistical significance at the 0.05 level was the family aspect, followed by religion and social aspect.
